Where to Go When the Money is Low

Where to Go When the Money is Low

My Top 5 Cheapest Vacation Locations

I want to preface this post by letting you know that I have only been to 25 countries—Australia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Guam, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America.  Yes I included the US, don’t judge me.  There are a bunch of other inexpensive places unfortunately, I just haven’t visited them yet.  Don't worry, I promise to update this post as I travel to different places as needed.  Well without further ado, here we go!

5. Jamaica: I love Jamaica!!! You can lay out on beach one day and hike through the jungle to a waterfall on another.  The water is clear and the food is to die for.  You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck here.

4. Bahamas: Another Caribbean destination that does not disappoint.  Their white sand beaches and clear blue oceans are everything!  There are beautiful fresh water blue holes and underwater cliffs and caves to explore.  Of course the food is amazing and the people are so friendly.

3. Philippines: All I can say is WOW.  Some of the most beautiful islands in the world.  The views will take your breath away.  If you venture to Philippines, I recommend you stay long enough to island hop.  You will experience some of the best scuba diving/free diving/snorkeling in the world.

2. Thailand: Pataya Beach is the real sin city.  From Bangkok to Phuket, you will never have a dull night in Thailand.  While I like to party as much as the next person, Thailand is home of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.  Krabi Beach, Phi Phi Islands, Patong, the list goes on.  Like Philippines, I recommend you stay long enough to bounce around the country and her Islands.  Please be cautious of places that mistreat animals while in Thailand.

1. Indonesia: Now I have only been to Bali Island but from my limited experience, Indonesia provides the best overall experience for the lowest price.  Bali Island has some of the friendliest people I have ever met.

Happy travels! What are your top 5?
